Practical assessment
I examine and assess your systems, equipment, products, and materials with regard to their electrostatic properties. Using measurement-based investigations, I determine whether and how they can be safely used in explosive atmospheres.
A key focus is on providing a practical assessment. Operational conditions and the intended use are essential factors in the evaluation. Testing is carried out either under standard climate conditions or under real operating conditions – in the laboratory or directly on site at your facilities.

Examinations
- Resistance measurements (surface and volume resistance, earth resistance)
- Charging measurements
- Capacity measurements
- Determination of the breakdown voltage of insulating coatings and layers
- Capacitance measurements on insulated, conductive objects (e.g. flanges)
- Measurements of the charging height under practical conditions
Qualification, training, workshops
- Basic seminars on electrostatics with experimental part
- Product-specific training, e.g. for employees at manufacturers
- Company-specific training courses, e.g. as part of the qualification of employees
- Workshops for innovative solutions to electrostatics issues
